The Role
You’ll be the crucial link between NPD (New Product Development), Technical, and Operations, ensuring a smooth transition from kitchen concept to full-scale production — meeting technical, operational, and customer requirements every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the scale-up of new products from approval to successful factory launch.
- Organise and oversee factory trials, including materials, nutritional checks, shelf life tests, costings, and validations.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
- Produce and maintain factory quality standards and customer quality assessment sheets.
- Support customer sign-off meetings (Gate 3, Technical Handover, etc.) and be on-site for launches.
- Challenge and improve existing processes for efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure all statutory, legal, food safety, and customer standards are met.
What We’re Looking For
- Food Technology degree or equivalent experience.
- Level 3 or 4 Food Safety certification.
- Experience in process development, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Strong project management and deadline-handling skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
