Process Operative – Cranswick Pet Products
Location: Lincoln LN6 9HD
Shifts: 6am - 6pm (Days) OR 6pm - 6am (Nights)

The Role
As a Process Operative, you’ll help produce safe, high-quality pet food through milling, extrusion, drying, and coating processes. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor machinery including mills, extruders, dryers, and coaters.
- Handle raw materials safely (including FLT loading) and manage waste for rework.
- Complete technical checks and maintain accurate records.
- Keep the work area clean and follow strict food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with your team and escalate issues where needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing (food / pet food, or FMCG preferred).
- Food Safety Level 2 (or willingness to train).
- Awareness of quality standards and health & safety.
- A problem-solving attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
