About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Primary & Childhood Education Administrator to join the Department of Primary & Childhood Education within the Faculty of Education.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high-quality administrative service which enables the Department and wider Faculty to provide students with an outstanding learning and teaching experience.
  • Working with other professional support staff to deliver various administrative services which ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies such as the Department for Education and Ofsted in addition to the Office for Students.
  • Supporting the provision of internal and external curriculum-based activities linked to Initial Teacher Education (e.g. Intensive Training and Practice), employability-related activities including external visits.

As Primary & Childhood Education Administrator, you will be:

  • an enthusiastic, highly skilled and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing an outstanding administrative experience for our students, staff, and external partners.
  • a well organised, proactive, team player who has a meticulous attention to detail, is adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ideally, someone with experience of liaising with internal and external colleagues to support the timely and effective delivery of administrative tasks and services.
  • someone who brings a consistently strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do with internal and external stakeholders.
