We are seeking a skilled Prepper/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. The Painter will work both independently and as part of a team to complete various projects in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while on site.
- Drive to various job locations as required.
- Can complete repairs to a high standard
Skills
- Proficient in painting techniques and methods.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive to different job sites reliably.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively on projects.
