Summary
We are currently seeking a hard working Powder Coater to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality finishes on products through the powder coating process. Based in Rotherham, this position plays a vital part in our mission to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding and masking as necessary.
- Apply powder coating efficiently to various surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure an even finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth flow of production and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices during the coating process.
- Perform tasks in warmer weather conditions, including the operation of curing ovens.
Requirements
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Proven experience in powder coating or similar finishing processes is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
