Cabbages & Kings is a rapidly growing coffee shop and catering company with premises in both Stowmarket and Needham Market. This role would be based in the Duck and Teapot café at Needham Lakes, Needham Market, Suffolk.
Experience is advantageous but the right attitude is also important to us. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in hospitality and a passion to succeed. You will also need to respond promptly to offers of work and be able to cope well under pressure.
Working week:
Casual hours based on the availability of shifts. Part-time; weekdays, weekends and including some public holidays. Flexibility and availability are essential, as you may be required to cover sickness at short notice, or to provide cover for holidays with more notice provided.
Shift lengths and times will vary, between the opening hours of 8am to 8pm. Please only apply if you are available to work on both weekdays and weekends with good availability across the days.
Wages:
National Minimum Wage/Living Wage – age dependant.

Responsibilities:
- Customer service and customer satisfaction
- Till work and cash handling
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace throughout working day
- Cleaning down the kitchen and coffee shop after service.
- Following Health & Safety guidelines.
- Processing deliveries
- Supporting the shift supervisor to prepare and serve for day-to-day trading
