Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our plant machinery and equipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Plant Operator will ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to plant operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends if required.
