They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing phlebotomy guidance as required. Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care. Assisting with safe transfer of patients to ambulance services or secondary care. Raise relevant information with the duty GP Review patient data to work with the nursing team, to achieve focused patient healthcare. To maintain mandatory training and remain current in practice. Attend GPS Phlebotomy Team meetings. To attend regular team meetings at site.
To have regular communications with the Lead Nurse and Site Supervisor. Attend external meetings as appropriate to role and development.
