We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Procurement Specialist who would like to join our Procurement and Distribution team in the Pharmacy Department at York or Scarborough Hospital. A good understanding of procurement and stock management is vital for this post.

We are a friendly and innovative teas which thrives on improvement and service development. Experience of working within a Pharmacy Stores would be beneficial, however, not essential as training will be provided.

Supporting with training within pharmacy procurement.
Participating in reviewing SOPs
Stock control, ordering and supply of medicines to wards.
Daily ordering of pharmaceuticals for York and Scarborough Hospitals
Inputting contracts and dealing with supply issues
Working with Senior members of the Procurement and Distribution teams to enable improvement and development in line with the Trusts priorities.
