Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant / Dispenser
Location: Lordshill Pharmacy
Hours: 31 hours per week (must include Wednesday and Saturday)
Salary: Meets National Minimum Wage (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are currently seeking a motivated, forward-thinking Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant / Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive team.
About the Role:
As a vital part of our pharmacy team, you’ll support the safe and effective supply of medicines and provide excellent customer care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthcare and looking to grow within the pharmacy sector.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- A keen interest in developing your role and progressing within the business
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services (desirable but not essential – training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
- Offering advice and support to customers
- Supporting the pharmacist and wider team in the daily running of the pharmacy
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring a clean, safe working environment
