Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy assistant to join our team in providing excellent patient care and medication services. You will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
Duties:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide advice and assistance to patients on medication usage
- Maintain proper stock levels of medications and supplies
- Assist pharmacists with medication administration tasks
- Process prescriptions and handle patient queries with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Working hours are from Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm. Please do not apply if you are unable to meet this criterion.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not essential
- Proficient in medication administration procedures
-Proficient in using IT systems and the ability to understand and follow instructions correctly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while prioritising patient safety
