Role Overview:
As a day Shift Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our Service Users, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing through the day. Your role will include assisting with personal care, administration of medicine, monitoring health, and assistance in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting service users with personal care
- Monitoring clients’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly
- Supporting clients with mobility and transfers as needed
- Providing companionship and reassurance to help our service users
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment throughout the day
- Assisting with medication prompts or administration as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Compassionate and patient with a calm, reassuring presence
- Ability to work independently or part of a team effectively
- Good communication and observation skills
- Previous experience in care preferred but not essential – training provided
- Reliable and punctual with flexibility to assist
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
