Care at Home Services is a long-standing family run care company, providing domiciliary care through our Care branches, located across Kent and Sussex. We are now seeking a Personal Assistant to provide care for our client in Buxted. We are looking for an experienced care giver, local to the area, who is patient, friendly and reliable.
This is a part-time position working 16-20 hours, with the option of additional (full-time) hours working as a Community Care Assistant out of our Hailsham branch covering surrounding areas to Buxted.
Shift patterns are 08:00-12:00, 13:00-16:30, 18:00-22:00 and you will be required to work at least 2 of these shifts, 3 times a week.
The client is a gentlemen with a range of needs that include:
- Transferred with the use of a hoist
- Epilepsy/ seizures
- Dysphagia (Difficulty swallowing)
- Multiple system atrophy
The client lives with his sister and father and it's important that although they are not directly involved in his care, that they maintain a close relationship with the carer and involved in decisions regarding his care.
The client loves listening to the radio and sitting in the home's conservatory looking onto the garden with a cup of tea.

REQUIRMENTS
- Right to work in the UK - we do not offer sponsorship at this time.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in care
- Experience in a Personal Assistant role preferred but not essential.
- Excellent level of communication
- Compassionate and professional
