Overview
We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications using LoadRunner.
This position involves working closely with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and provide insights that enhance the overall user experience.
Hybrid working 3 days per week in Cambridgeshire
Duties
- Conduct performance testing on software applications to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and design effective test strategies.
- Develop and execute Performance Tests using LoadRunner, Splunk and Dynatrace
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Analyse test results, document findings, and present recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in performance testing.
Skills
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools and frameworks. LoadRunner, Splunk, Dynatrace, SQL
- Familiarity with test automation techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of application architecture and design patterns.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
