Join Our Team as a People & Culture Administrator
Supporting our Fit for the Future project and the People & Culture team
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused administrator to join our team. This is a varied role where you’ll provide essential support to our Fit for the Future (FftF) project and act as the first point of contact for our People & Culture (P&C) team. What You’ll Do
Fit for the Future Project – This is a large project that we will be undertaking over the next year fully refurbishing our ward area.
- Take meeting minutes, update action trackers, Gantt charts, create presentations and keep project documentation up to date.
- Track and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Work with the Head of People & Culture to prepare agendas and support committee members.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Advertise roles, review candidates, arrange interviews, and prepare interview packs.
- Support the interview process and complete pre-employment checks.
- Prepare offer packs, gather references, and arrange induction activities for new starters.
People & Culture Administration
- Respond to queries via email, in person and phone.
- Prepare and check HR documents including contracts, change letters, and absence records.
- Maintain accurate data on our HR system, ensuring GDPR and CQC compliance.
- Support payroll checks, meetings, training bookings, and wellbeing/EDI events.
General Administration
- Provide holiday/absence cover for the admin team.
- Contribute to policy and procedure reviews.
- Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the wider organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven administrative experience, ideally in HR or project support.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using HR or database systems (training provided).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14,600.00-£17,800.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
