We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Bus Driver to join our team for daily private charter runs in and around Edinburgh.
Job Overview
This is not a public service bus role. You will be responsible for one scheduled run into town and returning to the depot to finish. The position includes supporting basic setup and checks of buses before departure, making it ideal for someone who takes pride in presentation and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete one return run per day from the depot to a set location in Edinburgh and back.
- Assist with the setup and basic checks of buses before departure (fuel, cleanliness, signage, etc.).
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, offering a friendly and professional experience.
- Ensure all journeys run safely, on time, and in accordance with traffic regulations.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues to the depot manager.
Requirements
- Valid PCV (Category D) Licence and Driver CPC.
- Experience driving buses or large vehicles preferred.
- Strong customer service skills – this is a passenger-facing role.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Based near Edinburgh or able to commute to the local depot.
