People are at the centre of Jet Plant hire, especially ensuring everyone is paid on time and correctly. We are excited to be recruiting for a 12-month maternity cover contract to join our finance team as dedicated Payroll assistant.
You will receive a full hand over before taking over the process so from day one you will join a close and brilliant team, this role will allow you to build relationships with every member of the Jet team.
We use Sage payroll as a system and are looking for this person to have experience using the system and getting the best out of it.
This is a part time role we are flexible to what you are looking for.
Role and responsibilities:
- You will take the lead with inputting our 3 payrolls – Weekly, 4 weekly and monthly. Working closely with the line managers to ensure info is on time and accurate.
- You will administrate all information, hours worked, shifts completed, timesheets authorised, overtime and any extra payments on timesheets.
- Responsible for the submission of payments for employees
- Working with the people team for processing new starters and leavers
- Calculating remaining holidays
- First point of contact for payroll related queries
- Payroll and HMRC submissions
- Working with the wider finance team as and when required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Previous Sage payroll experience essential
- Microsoft Word & Excel knowledge
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Enjoy working within a finance team
- Clear communicator at all levels within a business.
