We are seeking a caring, motivated and proactive Pastoral Support Worker to join our pastoral team from September to Christmas 2025. This fixed-term role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of a small number of students who would benefit from additional support, guidance, and encouragement to reach their full potential.
Working closely with students, families and colleagues, you will provide targeted support for a caseload of around 10–12 pupils, helping them to develop positive routines, improve engagement in lessons, and grow in confidence. This role includes direct mentoring, supporting behaviour and wellbeing strategies, and playing a key part in the wider pastoral life of the school.

About Wollaston School
Wollaston School is a large, rural community school located in a village setting about 15 minutes drive from Northampton. The student intake draws on nearby villages and the towns of Earls Barton, Wellingborough, and Irchester. We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 240 students in the Sixth Form. The school is over-subscribed. Wollaston School was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2023.
