We are currently looking for a Parts Advisor to join our Workshop in Camberley, to efficiently source, manage and supply parts to the technicians, ensuring timely repairs and maintaining an accurate inventory of parts.
Salary: £29,070 - £32,000 DOE
Role & Responsibilities:
- Supply technicians with necessary parts to complete vehicle repairs efficiently.
- Accurately pick and deliver parts to the workshop to maximise productivity.
- Manage stock levels, ensuring the availability of required parts and conducting regular stock audits.
- Maintain accurate records of part transactions, inventory updates and deliveries.
- Organise and prepare parts for delivery or collection, ensuring proper packaging and labelling.
- Process invoices, payments, warranties, returns and core part exchanges using the company system.
- Support the management of supplier deliveries, ensuring parts are received in good condition.
- Communicate effectively to ensure correct parts are provided promptly.
- Keep the department clean and well organised.
- Train junior parts advisors to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Provide general administrative support and undertake ad hoc duties as required.
- Learn all aspects or parts operations for both the workshop and body shop.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a faced past environment.
- Automotive parts experience.
- Enthusiasm for motor industry and willingness to continuously develop product knowledge.
