At Serco Workforce Solutions, we’re looking for a Part Time Weekend Refuse HGV Collections Driver to join our team of valued key workers and help make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
- Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
- Complete relevant paperwork in real time
- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users

Working Hours*
- 7.5 hours between 6am to 6pm, Saturday & Sunday
- Saturday Rate £22.50 & Sunday rate £30.00 per hour

* What you’ll need to succeed
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
- Driver CPC
- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to undertake tasks
- Clean drivers licence desirable for all staff
- Previous relevant experience desirable
