The Role
Due to the location of the Pharmacy we will only consider applicants that live within a reasonable commute to the Pharmacy and have the indefinite right to stay. We will not consider any applicants currently living in East London, north of the River Thames or from outside the UK.
We are looking for either part time Pharmacy Dispensers to join our small friendly team working at least 24 hours a week. The hours are yet to be set so we are flexible and can work with your own schedule. Experience working as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant is required at the minimum or demonstrable transferable skills, we will provide dispenser training to the successful candidate if it is required.
The successful candidate will dispense prescriptions ready for collection and assist patients on the telephone as well as in person. They will have excellent communication skills and be courteous and efficient at all times. Accuracy and attention to detail is a requirement of the role.
This is a fast-paced environment in which you will be a core member of the pharmacy team, therefore, the ideal candidates will have experience within a busy pharmacy environment and be willing to learn and exhibit excellent team-working skills.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Helping the team with the smooth running of the dispensary
- Dispensing medication effectively and safely
- Managing stock levels
- Assist with counter sales
- Working with the pharmacist to deliver services and achieve company targets
- Dealing with queries from patients and GP surgeries
As every day is different, this is not an exhaustive list but we are looking for individual's who are willing to embrace that challenge and grow with the pharmacy team.

The Pharmacy is open at the following times:
Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 13:00 & 14:00 - 18:00
Saturday: 09:00 - 13:00
Sunday: Closed
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.30-£14.00 per hour
Experience:
- pharmacy counter assistant/dispenser: 1 year (preferred)
