About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support a busy Notary Public office. The ideal candidate will assist with client intake, documentation, scheduling, producing invoices and data entry and general office tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in a professional, client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone
- Prepare and manage legal and administrative documents
- Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and filing
- Maintain a professional and courteous environment
Requirements:
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills (email, MS Word, etc.)
- Experience in a legal or office setting is an asset
- Friendly, professional, and trustworthy demeanor
Desirable:
- Knowledge of notarial procedures is a plus (training provided if needed)
- Previous administrative or customer service experience
