Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. Duties
- Operate lorries or vans for the delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, which may involve heavy lifting.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving is essential, with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are required to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.
- A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
