Overview: Dart FM Services Ltd, a prominent provider of Commercial, Healthcare,
Educational, and Industrial Contract Cleaning Services in Devon County, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team.
This position will be based at Chagford Health Centre and will focus on maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in a healthcare setting. It is 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday after 6.00 pm (key holder position). 6 weeks of holiday (22 days + bank holidays).
Key Responsibilities:
Thorough cleaning of all assigned areas within the medical centre, including patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
Sanitise high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of infection.
Properly dispose of medical waste in accordance with regulations.
Adhere to cleaning protocols as established by healthcare facility management and Dart FM Services Ltd.
Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Follow a cleaning schedule as laid out by the cleaning supervisor.
Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly to supervisory staff.
Replenish consumables and other essential supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in a healthcare environment, is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage methods. Ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Must be able to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
A background check and proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom are required.
