AvDar Group LTD are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading parcel courier for parcel sorters in the Belfastarea. This is a permanent opportunity starting in September, perfect for those looking for stable, long-term work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Role:
- Accurately sort and organise incoming parcels based on routes and delivery zones.
- Operate handheld scanners to support the sorting process
- Core Working Hours from 3am – 8am.
- Identify and report any damaged items in line with company procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Work closely with your team to meet sortation targets
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Experience in parcel sorting or warehouse work is not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle packages of varying sizes
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Must have reliable transport to and from the site

A typical day as an AvDar parcel sorter…
Working in a fast-paced environment, your shift begins at 3am, you receive your own scanner from an on-site supervisor and start to scan and sort varying parcels into their allocated parcel bays. One scan and you’ll know exactly what bay to place the parcels in. Working in a small team to complete the job effectively and efficiently and meeting your full potential. Once the sort is complete for 8am, the rest of the day is your own!!
