Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with our managers to understand our vision. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for both interior and exterior projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Repair minor surface imperfections prior to painting to ensure a smooth finish.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with managers to discuss project details, timelines, and any changes needed during the process.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in painting and decorating is highly desirable.
- A valid driving licence is mandatory to facilitate travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay: £140.00-£170.00 per day

- CSCS (preferred)
