Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The Candidate must be able to hang wallpaper and will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes, and delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes to ensure a smooth finish.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Select appropriate materials and tools for each project, ensuring the best quality results.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
