Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects while adhering to client specifications.
- Install wallpaper and other decorative materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
- Drive to various job sites as necessary, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating is essential.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
