We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all painting and decorating tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Measure and cut wallpaper or fabric for decorative purposes.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and materials.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.
Skills
- Proficient in construction painting techniques with a strong understanding of various materials and finishes.
- Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong driving skills, with a valid driving licence to travel to various job sites as required.
