We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a n Organisational Learning Coordinator at our Learning & Development Department Could you be who we are looking for?

This role focusses on promoting a culture of continuous improvement and sharing best practice across both South Wales Police & within the Learning and Development Department

The key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Ensuring that lessons learned from operational and organisational policing and critical incidents are embedded into policy, practice, procedure and appropriate L&D learning interventions.
  • Assessing and evaluating learning interventions within L&D and providing recommendations for change in line with lessons learned.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within L&D processes and procedures.
  • Providing support to the L&D Business Partner including onboarding new Police Staff employees who join South Wales Police, the coordination and oversight of a range of learning and development activities, supporting the maturity of our Training Needs Analysis and building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR and external organisations.
