Salary: £67,116 (£74,124 is achieved after 12 months successful performance in the role)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, full time  
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Hybrid

The difference you will make as an Oracle HCM Functional and Technical Lead
 
We are looking for an Oracle Fusion HCM Functional/Technical Developer with experience of databases, database programming (PL/SQL), Java, and other 4GL programming languages development to join us on a permanent contract, with significant benefits available to the right candidates.

We will invest in you, providing comprehensive handover and training of our business’ function, setup and processes, along with tailored mentoring and access to training resources and a potential to earn highly sought-after qualifications in the area of delivery.

 

About you

We are looking for someone who 

• Relevant IT qualification, equivalent to Batchelors Degree or above. 
• Proven Oracle HCM Cloud knowledge. 
• Java development experience.
• Oracle OTBI experience

Role Profile 

• Work with Senior members of our team, take guidance where needed and contribute to the development of new functionality and configuration of Oracle Fusion applications. 
• Work collaboratively and own the tasks assigned and identified as part of the overall product development. 
• Bring in Oracle experience and suggestions to the discussions and product design. 
• Work with a competitive spirit, whilst upholding quality, professionalism, and integrity 
• Provide regular reports to the Technical and Project teams. 
• Deliver projects with minimal supervision and to consistently high standards. 
• Be responsible for non-functional requirements on the project and will provide assurance through sign off at key milestones, such as Acceptance Testing and Hypercare. 
• Collaborate and communicate with key business stakeholders and colleagues and Business Analysts, to ensure software design and development aligns with business requirements and project scope, seeking expertise and guidance as required.
• Collaborate with Test Analysts to ensure development testing standards are met and communicated before handover and provide an efficient and effective defect resolution response to meet rest priorities as required. 
• Provide support as required including incidents and problem management, proactively managing performance, availability, and resilience. 
• Ensure any key risks and issues are identified and managed during the project lifecycle, offering mitigation or acceptance advice to the accountable stakeholder. 
• Ensure detailed knowledge transfer to the IT Service Delivery function upon project and change delivery, including the handover of technical documentation and specifications for maintenance and housekeeping. 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and procedures, helping to design, implement and refine the adoption of a DevOps approach to service delivery. 
• Ensure that all information security requirements, including data protection, are met in accordance with the Group’s policy, procedures, and statutory requirements. 
• Responsible for the Audit and compliance of the system, ensuring users are updated correctly with the Oracle roles required to complete their job. 
• Deliver the quarterly releases, identifying any changes that will impact the Oracle solution and also engage with the business on any new enhancements that have become available and work towards test and deployment.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

• Relevant IT qualification, equivalent to Batchelors Degree or above. 
• Proven Oracle HCM Cloud knowledge. 
• Java development experience. 
• Oracle OTBI experience. • Business acumen. 
• Oracle cloud Payroll experience, including yearend practices. 
• Oracle cloud HCM experience in functional guidance and technical build. 
• Proven record of working with an implementation partner. 
• Oracle cloud Talent/Recruitment experience in functional guidance and technical build. 
• Experience delivering the Oracle cloud quarterly release.

 

Desirable 

• Proven record of working with Learning/Performance. 
• HR business experience. 
• Agile project experience.
