You'll be overseeing and executing a wide range of operational tasks — from managing online orders and coordinating couriers, to refining logistics workflows, supplier operations, inventory checks, and shaping company strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across the fulfilment hub and online systems
- Manage end-to-end order processing: picking, packing, courier dispatch
- Monitor and improve operational performance (speed, accuracy, cost efficiency)
- Work with tech, customer service, and supplier teams to resolve issues fast
- Build and optimise SOPs and workflows for fulfilment, inventory, and returns
- Coordinate with courier partners and support cross-border shipping logistics
- Participate in strategic planning and identify areas for process automation or improvement
- Occasionally assist with hands-on fulfilment and inventory quality checks
- Lead new ops initiatives as we scale globally
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on operations experience in a startup, grocery delivery, e-commerce, or logistics setting
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills — you can put out fires and still hit targets
- Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., Shopify, ClickUp, Google Sheets, order management systems)
- Strong communication and coordination skills across remote and physical teams
- Willingness to work in a hybrid role: part remote, part at the fulfilment site (Brentwood, Essex)
- Resides in or around London/Essex and can commute to Brentwood as needed
- Self-starter with a “no task too small” attitude and a drive for ownership
- Bonus: Experience working with global shipping, suppliers, or 3PLs
