We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our dedicated and growing team at Al Manar Islamic Shop Ltd. This role is essential in supporting our online sales operations and ensuring a seamless customer experience from order placement to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process online orders through platforms such as the company website, eBay, Amazon, and other marketplaces
- Communicate with customers via email, phone, and messaging platforms to provide prompt and courteous support
- Handle product inquiries, order updates, and resolve complaints .
- Update and maintain online product listings, including writing accurate descriptions and uploading high-quality images
- Monitor stock levels and notify the team of low inventory or high-demand items
- Coordinate with the packing and dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Manage returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of sales, communications, and transactions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in online sales, e-commerce, or a customer service role (preferred but not essential)
- Fluency in English, Bengali (Bangla), and Urdu – both spoken and written, is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer literacy and familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, eBay, Amazon, or WooCommerce)
- Basic understanding of order management systems and inventory tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work efficiently under pressure
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Knowledge of Islamic products and cultural sensitivity is an added advantage
