Who are we?
Prominent Education, part of the Xinlung Group, delivers high-quality, tailored tuition across a wide range of academic subjects. We are expanding our provision for international students preparing for the IELTS examination and are seeking experienced bilingual IELTS tutors to join our team.
This role is remote and online, with flexible hours.
Candidate requirements
Essential
- Fluent English
- Mandarin (intermediate minimum, fluent preferred)
- Proven IELTS teaching experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ tutoring or teaching experience
- Recognised EFL teaching qualification
- Able or able to provide an enhanced DBS check
Preferred
- Experience as an IELTS examiner
- Experience designing IELTS preparation materials and practice assessments
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, personalised online IELTS tuition in one-to-one and small group settings
- Teach in English with occasional Mandarin as needed to support bilingual learners effectively
- Create tailored lesson plans, practice papers, and targeted resources for exam preparation
- Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students
- Support students in achieving their required IELTS band scores for academic or professional purposes
