We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery setting in the Islington area for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who holds a Level 3 or above in Early Years and is looking to join a dedicated and supportive team.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn and thrive. Whether it’s sharing a story, planning engaging activities, or simply having fun, your work will support the early development of children during these vital years.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote high standards of quality within the setting in terms of environment, resources and experiences provided to children
- Take on key carer responsibilities, supporting children’s learning and development
- Prepare and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities
- Ensure provision is in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Provide support and guidance to students and unqualified team members
- Contribute to the overall smooth running and day-to-day organisation of the room in the absence of the Room Leader
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Passionate about working with young children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS check will be required
