Job Summary
We are looking for a cook to work within our family run nursery to cover maternity leave for 12months with a prospect of a position within our nursery after the 12months.
The hours are 9.30 until 12.30 Monday to Friday.
We can have up to 50 children per day and tasks involved will be to prepare snack, lunch and the afternoon light meal for the children following the nursery menus. Part of the role is stock rotation and putting away the food when it comes into nursery. We have children who are weaning and who may have allergies so the right candidate must have or be willing to complete food handling training and allergy training.Full training can will be provided for the right candidate.
- Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience making meals for children preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills is required.
