Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 9 months-5 years old.
- Plan weekly menus in line with children's dietary needs, allergies, and preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Order and manage food supplies efficiently within a set budget.
- Work closely with nursery staff and parents regarding children's dietary requirements.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working in a kitchen (experience in a nursery or school setting is a plus).
- Holds a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain one.)
- Understands children's nutritional needs and can cater to various dietary requirements.
- Is organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.
