Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Moorside Stars Nursery in Moorside. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our children, ensuring their safety and comfort while they learn and play.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks throughout the nursery, including classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor play areas to provide a safe environment for children.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in organizing cleaning schedules to ensure thorough coverage of all areas.
- Support staff with additional cleaning needs as required during events or busy periods.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and children.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
