We are looking for an experienced administrator who has experience of working in a paced environment and recently worked nights.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Logging the external vehicles when they arrive in the hub
- Process pallets that arrive at the hub with no labels
- Data inputting using internal systems
- Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, signed, and dispatched to the correct destination
- Possess good communication skills and be able to use a 2-way radio
- Handle incoming queries from trunk drivers, shareholder members, and other Pallet-Track departments
- Check and clear departing trunks from the hub using the hub scanning system
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is signed by the Scanners
- Resolve issues that relate to scanning and report issues called from the floor
- Check the pallets for the Irish depot ensuring compliance and if any pallets that are rejected the scanners are aware.
- Communicating with both Central hubs regarding trunking arrangements for both locations.
- Must be able to make decisions from data presented with in scanning system.
- Ensure the night operation is supplied with all relevant information including the night report with trunk details completed
- Ensure day operations are made aware of issues from the night operation (Held overs, next day freight left on floor, FLT related issues)
- Record compliance audits(including photographing relevant issues) each shift. This can involve in and out bound freight presentation, load security, PPE compliance, vehicle speed. This list is not exhaustive.
- Report any severe contraventions of Health & Safety in the yard areas to management immediately.
- Ensure any loads that are identified as unsecured (inbound or outbound) are reported to the HGV driver and are recorded via the audit process. Ensure that all visiting drivers adhere to the site rules.
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft packages
- Carry out all your duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
