Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalised instruction and support. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, including those with special educational needs, to enhance their learning experience. The Tutor will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- THIS ROLE IS FOR A TUTOR EXPERIENCED IN SUPPORTING NEURODIVERSE LEARNERS.
- WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERY OF LESSONS FOR THIS COHORT TYPE IN A 121 OR GROUP SETTING
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in specific subjects or skills.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop customised learning plans.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Educate students using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.
- Stay updated on educational best practices and methodologies.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Ability to educate and inspire students, fostering a love for learning.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Proven tutoring experience, particularly in the subject areas relevant to the role.
- Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable, enabling support for diverse learning needs.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
- Strong organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student assessments efficiently.

Pay: £12.76-£25.00 per hour
