Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of machinery and equipment within our facility, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any operational issues encountered.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- A commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by the operational needs of the plant.
