Mobile Cleaning Operative

Role Overview
Notus Support Services is seeking a proactive and professional Mobile Cleaning Operative to support our cleaning operations across multiple client sites. This is a flexi-time role involving a combination of scheduled cleaning routines and reactive cleaning tasks, often responding to service requests at short notice.
As a mobile operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation across commercial and residential sites. The role requires reliable travel between locations, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a variety of environments and shift patterns—including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily and periodic cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and waste removal.
- Respond to reactive or emergency cleaning requests as required.
- Work flexible shift patterns across the week, in line with rota requirements and client demands.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Travel independently or with a team to multiple locations across the region.
- Liaise directly with site contacts and clients to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
- Maintain accurate records, including timesheets and stock usage.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including safe use of chemicals and PPE.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable, but not essential—full training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a mobile support team.
- Physically fit, punctual, and dependable with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexibly, including varying shift patterns and short-notice assignments.
