Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a keen eye for detail. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities provide a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleans or post-event clean-ups.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
