CATERed runs the Community Meal Service in Plymouth supplying freshly prepared home cooked meals to customers in their own homes 365 days per year. We are located at The Rise in Plympton where we also supply a lunch time service to residents.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual to join the team
Duties will include assisting with the preparation, cooking and packing of hot freshly cooked meals for clients (elderly or in need) ready for collection by community meals drivers, table service to the residents of The Rise as well as general cleaning and tidying duties. Training will be provided.
The role (under the Community Meals Service structure and grading) is to assist in the preparation of food ensuring health, safety and hygiene legislation and regulations are followed at all times.
The hours of duty are 12.5 hours Monday – Friday (Bank Holidays included). On occasion there will be a requirement for applicants to be called upon for holiday and sickness cover within the unit.
