We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our vibrant team. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails and beverages, providing an outstanding experience for our guests. Your creativity and knowledge of mixology will play a crucial role in enhancing our bar's reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
- Maintain an organised bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take orders, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting in ordering when necessary.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and techniques to enhance the beverage menu.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations while serving drinks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for mixology and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes is essential.
