To keep up with demand, we’re on the lookout for a quick-thinking Day Controllers to join our buzzing control room team.
If you can manage bookings like a pro, keep drivers on the road, and think two steps ahead, you’ll fit right in.
Hours
- 4-on-4-off rotating shifts
- Day Shift pattern working between 06:00 - 18:00 (tbc)
What you'll be doing
- Dispatch jobs to drivers with accuracy and efficiency
- Keep track of bookings and make sure everything runs like clockwork
- Plan ahead to keep operations smooth
- Liaise with management on growth opportunities
- Coordinate logistics so passengers get where they need to be
You'll shine in this role if you have
- 1+ year experience in a similar role with a computerised dispatch system (Cordic experience = a big plus)
- Good computer skills
- An organised, methodical approach to work
- Strong knowledge of Croydon, South London, and beyond
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A good understanding of the Private Hire industry
Pay
- From £12.00 p/h (wages to be discussed, depending on experience)
- Full time, self-employed position
