Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic specialist welding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding with a focus on delivering high-quality work. We are Specialist Welding, we offer precision welding in all materials including duplex, aluminium and stainlesss steels as well as carbon steel. Codings would be preferred, however training and codings will be offered to the right candidate. Candidate would be required to work at site on power stations and renewable energy installations.
Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
- Operate to deadlines in a quality conscious manner.
- Operate hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding processes.
- Familiarity with Stick welding is advantageous but not essential.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
