Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to develop UX/UI designs from concept to delivery.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions.
- Develop style guides and support visual consistency across products.
- Engage in design reviews and implement feedback.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Either:
- Currently studying or recently graduated with a degree in UI/UX Design, Digital Media, Interaction Design, or a related field, or
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a similar UX/UI design role.
- A demonstrable portfolio—this can include coursework, personal projects, or professional work.
- Proficiency in Figma or other design/wireframing tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Strong visual design skills and an understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and solve design problems creatively.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development processes is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time: 2 Days a Week (10 hours total)
- Working Hours: Flexible
- Location: Cardiff City Centre (on-site only)
- Pay: Pro Rata – £25,396 per annum (£12.21/hour)
