We are seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential administrative support while ensuring a welcoming environment. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time slots.
- Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Process patient information and insurance details accurately.
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as required.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with experience in office management preferred.
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using office software and medical management systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
