MASAJ is London’s leading bodywork company, known for our commitment to conscious wellbeing, community, and ethical business practices. Since 2016, we’ve been redefining the massage experience, offering inclusive, flexible, and expertly delivered treatments in beautifully considered environments.
This summer, we’re partnering with Wilderness Festival 2025, and we're looking for qualified, professional Massage Therapists to join our festival team. You'll be part of a pop-up experience delivering signature treatments in the heart of Wilderness’ sanctuary area.
What’s Included
- Weekend festival ticket + access to staff or quiet camping fieldsReturn coach transport from London, arranged by MASAJ
- A minimum of 3 shifts (Fri–Sun), with the option to work an additional shift on Thursday, paid hourly. The sanctuary is open 08:00-20:30 Fri-Sun, we will split these hours fairly across the team.
- Work from beautiful shared yurts with full MASAJ kit provided (tables, oils, towels, cleaning materials)
- MASAJ-branded T-shirts provided
- Protein and healthy snacks (these are not intended as meal replacements.)
Your Role at Wilderness
- Deliver either the MASAJ Signature No.1 (relaxing) or No.2 (deep tissue) 60-minute treatments
- Provide an excellent customer experience, ensuring the guest is heard and held in the MASJ way.
- Each shift includes a 15-minute turnaround between treatments and a 30-minute handover during therapist shift change.
- You'll work collaboratively in pairs within shared yurts, divided by fabric walls
- Uphold MASAJ’s high standards of care, conduct, and professionalism on and off shift
About You
- You hold a Level 3 in Massage and Deep tissue or Sports qualification (required)
- You are fully insured and have an up-to-date Regulatory Body Membership and can provide proof upon request
- You have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a massage or bodywork setting
- You thrive in new environments and enjoy working collaboratively
- You are professional, punctual, and aligned with MASAJ’s ethos of inclusive, conscious wellbeing
Important to Know
- This is a freelance opportunity; you will be paid hourly, not by treatment
- You’ll be asked to sign a Code of Conduct to reflect our values at the event
- If you agree to swap a shift and your cover does not show up, you remain responsible for your original shift
- Transport from central London is provided on Thursday (outbound) and Monday (return). If you cannot travel on these dates, you will be responsible for your own arrangements.

What's next:
- The application deadline will be on the 19th June, successful candidates will be notified of an interview trade test by the end of day 20th June.
- We will require successful trade test candidates to attend a MASAJ guest experience training to ensure alignment with our offering.
